Tynkkylän Lomaniemi locates in the countrysurroundings, near by Saimaa Pihlajavesi in Punkaharju's Vuoriniemi.

In the surroundings there are lots of isles and bays. This place is the area of the ringed seals.

Travelling was started at year 1968 by agriculture. During the years the travelling has expanded. In Lomaniemi, there are 12 cottages, which levels are 3-5-stars by MALO-classification. As well as there is a batchcottage and a granny's cottage. There is also offered the mealservices and other kind of programservices. For Saimaa's boaters we have a harbour and it's services.

The primary action and services centralizes to Tynkkylän Lomaniemi. Since 1998 in their function has also belonged Punkaharjun Lomahuvilat, which is a cottagevillage, 10km away from Tynkkylän Lomaniemi.

Nowadays the farhouse's host is Jukka Heikkonen with his parents Raija and Arto. The brothers, Mika and Pasi, with their families help when they have time.

The farms area is 127 hectares, which is 14 hectares fields and 110 hectares forests. There is 3000 meters of waterfront.
